Many of you know that to do a screen capture on Chromebook, all you have to do is press “Ctrl” + “Window Switch” keys at the same time. If you didn’t know that, now you do. But what about the Chromebox? Not all come with the Chrome Keyboard, and many users want to use the traditional “Windows” keyboards
Well, I have good news for you. The “Print Screen” button usually works with Chromebox. That’s right, the same button that you would use for Windows works on Chrome OS as well. I do say usually, though, because some people reported that it doesn’t work for them and some keyboards don’t have that “Print Screen” button. But don’t worry, there’s still another way. Just press “Ctrl” + “F5” keys at the same time and you will get your screenshot.
Once the screen capture happens, you will see a little notification popup that lets you view your image, copy it, or just close it. And that’s it, it automatically saves to your Downloads folder so there’s no need to manually paste into Paint and save from there like you do with Windows.
